TOPIC: Any chance to get iPad support?

Any chance to get iPad support? 13 years, 1 month ago #25047

Is there any chance you could implement some changes to allow VM Invoice to work with a iPad? I use my iPad as my shop computer. I can run VM Invoice in Safari on my website on my iPad. I am able to download invoices to my iPad and it opens in a new window but unfortunately, the invoice is blank. If I forward the invoice to my other computer from the iPad, it displays just fine. That tells me it is being created properly, it is just not displaying in Safari on the iPad. It woudl be AWESOME if I could open them on the iPad and then just print out invoices on the shop printer directly from my iPad. Attached is what the invoice looks like when opened on the iPad.

Hello,

I am afraid we are not going to deal with that. It seems to be rather iPad problem than the PDF problem if it displays fine on 99% of other devices.

You should rather contact Apple and tell them their device is not able to show PDFs correctly. :-)

Jan,

I am not sure I would be so quick to blame it on Apple for not showing PDF's correctly! I use all kinds of different PDF files on my iPad all the time including complex house plans and never have any issues. Looks like it may be something TCPDF is doing.

Anyway, I did a little digging today and got it to work!! I installed the new Acrobat Reader app on my iPad and can now open the invoices in it just fine!

Glad to hear that. So maybe it was not TCPDF fault at the end, right? ;-)
