But never with the language of the users, do have you an idea?

Hello. Here are requirements for language to work:

1. Do you have fr-FR language installed in your Joomla?
2. Do you have files in proper folder? For invoice, it must be languages/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_vminvoice.ini
3. If you have enabled "Page appearance -> Use customer language", shopper must have his frontend language set to French. If he has not explicit language specified, used is site frontend default language, which should be set to French also. Then he should get his invoices in french.

Exactly as this check customer language, did not work

All my menu EN and FR , front end EN and FR
, invoice EN and FR (virtuemart) work in English, when the customer chooses his language on the flag.
but not in VM invoice nothing changes is always in French.

Hello. Invoices from VirtueMart are different and uses different language files than VM Invoice.

Ah, I see where the problem can be - changing language "on the flag" isn't enough. Invoice is generated in language user chooses in his profile settings (.../index.php?option=com_users&view=profile).

Maybe we can update that behavior to: if opened directly from frontend, invoice is generated in currently set language.

This is an urgent topic, and i dont see it updated yet (5 months).. If you place order and pay, the shopper will expect a invoice, but the invoice can only be received in their language if they login to their user AFTER placing order and choosing frontend language.. Sorry to say, but this makes no sense at all.. This should ofcourse be 100% automatic detected and work flawlessly.. I propose a language selection base on either frontend language or picked country in address..
