pdf as index.exe file 13 years, 5 months ago #22740

Hello

Using the 1.5.1 version of VM invoice, Joomla 1.5.23 and Virtuemart 1.1.9
When i press the pdf buttons in the invoices overview it makes a index.exe file instead of the pdf file.

WHY ?

Do not know. Maybe something wrong with server configuration. Or there is some hack at your site. Index.exe sounds quite weird, for sure that is nothing that would be in the original VM Invoice code.

Re: pdf as index.php file after upgrade to 1.5.1 13 years, 5 months ago #22805

I have a similar problem but get index.php files instead of pdf files.

this happened after I upgraded from 1.4.7 to 1.5.1. So it it probably rather a fault of the upgrade than a server misconfiguration. This is very unpleasant I've to say.

Thanks for a fast solution to the problem

Klaus

Hello,
this might happen when the PDF generation failed from some reason.
Please, check in the webserver error log, if you can see any error there.

Hello,

For info:

Artio 1.5.1 In firefox 5.0 this problem also occurs, the previous version of firefox worked good (Artio 1.5.0). Artio 1.5.1 In Google chrome and Safari no problem, works good.

Greetings, peter-Paul

P.S. I work on a Mac...for info
