we cannot provide you a refund as this has not proved as a JoomSEF bug yet.
We have tested the feature and it works fine on testing instances. It appears there must be something connected with your site in particular. It might be either JS conflict or server setting issue.
If you provide our support with credentials to your site, we can try this and help you localize the problem.
