I use the Version 3.6.0 of ARTIO JoomSEF

Every time I go to the SiteMap section the following notice appears:

Your sitemap file is deprecated or not created. After you make all the changes, you should hit the Generate XML button.

When I click on "Generate XML" everything seems to be ok:

* Google pinged
* Yahoo pinged
* Bing pinged

When I came back (or click "save") I have the same problem mentioned above.

...what is wrong?!

You need to first check the Indexed checkbox for all the URLs you want to be present in the sitemap, then you click Save so the settings get saved to database, and when you have all the settings set, then you click the Generate XML button. Don't click Save again after that.

The Sitemap funcitonality does not generate any HTML version of the sitemap. It only generates the XML file you can use to tell Google or Yahoo which URLs it should index. The default URL to the sitemap is domain.com/sitemap.xml
