Hello, i have a Joomla 1.5.21 (clean install) + JoomSEF 3.7.4 (Paid for power-prom.ru)
The problem is that print and email button (but not pdf) have non-SEF url's like those:

/index.php?view=article&id=1%3Aabout&tmpl=component&print=1&layout=default&page=&option=com_content&Itemid=1

/index.php?option=com_mailto&tmpl=component&link=aHR0cDovLzg5LjE3OS4yNDUuMjAxL28ta29tcGFuaWk=

I've done clean install, but 2 hours earlier i was stuck at Joomla1.5.21 + VM 1.1.5. So virtuemart print, email and pdf buttons (on a details page) also had incorrect (non-SEF) url's

What should i do? Help me please!

Hello,

Those are not SEFed because of the tmpl=component variable in them, which usually means that the link is used for AJAX and SEF would ruin it.
However, you can enable the "SEF URLs using component template" option in JoomSEF's configuration on the Advanced tab if you want to SEF them.

Thanks a lot, David! I've solved a Joomla issue with buttons, but not Vitruemart one. How should i handle with their URLs? They're as follows:
power-prom.ru/index2.php?option=com_virt...egory_id=4&pop=1

power-prom.ru/index2.php?option=com_virt...1&tmpl=component

power-prom.ru/index2.php?page=shop.recom...tuemart&Itemid=2

By the way, today i've upgraded Virtuemart extension to latest - no success with virtuemart email-pdf-print buttons

The links starting with index2.php are not SEFed by Joomla. You would need a modification in the Joomla's core to achieve this.

Do you have any idea of what to modify at the joomla core?
Am I alone trying to achieve such an ordinary task - provide SEF url for those buttons in virtuemart? May be you have some examles, relative to this issue?

We haven't done this before, but I think looking into the JRoute::_() function located in /libraries/joomla/methods.php file is where you should start.
