I am running a website with joomla 1.5.22 and artio 3.7.6

I have a weird problem cause artio joomsef it is writing titles but ignoring meta keywords and description.

I have seen this (or very similar) problem recently on another site.

The problem there was a always a problem with cache. Either incorrect permission settings on cache directory or cache not being cleared after doing the change to metadatas.

An alternative reason could be that another plugin or component is modyfying the document after JoomSEF has made the changes.

I would recommend you first checking the possible cache issue anyway.

I have the same problem. I have the VirtueMart SEO Bundle: Joom SEF3 + VirtueMart Extension installed.
I'd like to modify the meta description & keywords for my VirtueMart products. But, editing Meta Tags in the "JoomSEF - SEF Url [ Edit ]" screen does not change the tags in the front end..

I've cleared cache, JoomSEF is installed and active, Joomla Global Configuration "Show Meta Tags..." are set to Yes. I disabled all the other system plugins except ARTIO JoomSEF.

Does this function work for any other ARTIO JoomSEF users? Any ideas on a solution ARTIO?
