Hi,

I've purchased both Joomsef 3.3.0 and the VM extension 2.0.2 for a Joomla 1.5.10 with VirtueMart 1.1.3 installation.

I'm currently having trouble configuring the whole lot to haven Virtuemart smoothly. Normal urls are working great, so do a number of vm urls. But I have a few issues and am wondering if someone could tell me what the best settings are.

Some of the issues are:

- vmcchk=1 (sometimes, not always)
- pages with limit & limitstart (in result navigation) don't work
- links to pages backwards in checkout process don't work

I have tried lots of settings, always purging urls and emptying cache.

I hope we can resolve this, I have two more shops lined up after this.

Hello,

the problem with vmcchk was described already in these forums - you need to adjust your VM settings.
As regards the links that do not work, please post them here - with their SEF and original format.

with regards to the vmcchk issue, I think you mean www.artio.net/en/support-forums/joomsef/...joomsef-v3-2-11#6580? Yes I had tried that, with exact same settings, no results.
Also added vmcchk to the Custom non-SEF variables. It happens less, but still every now and then.

Here's an example of the pages with limit:

test.rarewhiskysite.com/starter-kits/lis...20&limitstart=20
in the url manager I can only see
SEF: starter-kits/list-all-products-2.html
REAL: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=&page=shop.browse&Itemid=3

Example of link in checkout process:
test.rarewhiskysite.com/starter-kits/car...mp;shipping_rate_id=
in url manager:
SEF: starter-kits/cart/checkout.html
REAL: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&checkout_stage=1&page=checkout.index&Itemid=3

As regards the vmcchk problem, please refer to solution published in:

As regards the problem in the second case, it seems the problem might be connected with the fact the category "category_id=" is empty. Or if that should be URL for all products, then the SEF URL should be just "test.rarewhiskysite.com/list-all-products.html"
Try to purge both "/starter-kits/list-all-products-2.html" and other "list-all-products*" URLs and let JoomSEF regenerate them.

The problem with checkout may be similar, I think the URL should be just "/cart/checkout.html", not "starter-kits/cart/checkout.html".

thanks, the solution for vmcchk seems to work. I'll test this further in the next couple of days.

The urls are generated by Joomsef like this. I've purged them, cleaned cache and had them regenerated again.. No luck though. Could it be a isapirewrite ini thing?

I have the same problem.

Error with the checkout backwards and pages with limit & limitstart

I have purged, cleaned cache, and regenereted all the url and :-(
