a problem regarding categories in virtuemart is solved.

The strange thing is that after solving the problem a new one arrived.
The product name is mentioned 3 times in the url of the product flypage.
It also seems that it loads longer then it should.
Is this normal?
Can it be solved?
Is it a wrong setting?

Hi,

On the Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF open the VirtueMart's extension parameters. What is your configuration of the Product name 1st, 2nd and 3rd part options?
As regards the speed, JoomSEF slows the site down a little bit, but it seems to me quite fast for a Joomla website with VM and JoomSEF running. Beside enabling caching there's not much that can be done about it.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Solved now. I had set it wrong there.

I am not totally unhappy with the speed of the site. Just trying to get the best out of it.
Caching on the serverside would indeed help. Now to talk with the host!
