Hello,

JoomSEF cannot do this.
JPG images as well as other binary resources are direct links to the particular resource on server.
This means, when processed, they are not being parsed by Joomla and PHP just directly by webserver, so there is nothing JoomSEF could do about this.

There is however a solution:
1. you would need to patch VirtueMart (or configure) to use (generate) the image path xxxxx/image/
2. Then if the images would be physically stored elsewhere than in /images you would have to setup a redirect rule in .htacesss

xxxx/index2.php?page=shop.infopage&v...tuemart&Itemid=0

and

xxxxxxx/index2.php?page=shop.manufacture...tuemart&Itemid=0

and

xxxxxxx//index.php?option=com_virtuemart...ected=1&Itemid=0

they are not being parsed by Joomla and PHP just directly by webserver???????????
