non-ascii chars replaced in URL but not in meta 14 years, 6 months ago #11028

some characters like Ć and Č are not being replaced correctly in the meta, instead they are replaced with ?.

however, the same characters are being replaced in the URLs just fine... any ideas?

Hello,
JoomSEF does not do any character translations in metadata or title. The defined translations are only used to generate URL.
