I'am not able to get joomSEF to work.

When I install it, and activate "Search Engine Friendly URLs", all my links are genererating 404 error's, as it says in the FAQ i check access to .htaccess and all looks ok.

the options I set in the .htaccess
# mod_rewrite in use
RewriteEngine On

# Update Your Joomla! Directory (just / for root)
RewriteBase /


What are my options to further troubleshout this problem?

What server is your website running on? Apache or IIS? You can find this out in Joomla's administration area by opening the Help -> System Info menu.
