I have an issue with my shop. When i enter products via SQL directly, the JoomSEF isnt generating a SEF link at all. When i add products manually via admin they are made nicely.

The WIERD thing here is:

If i first click on a product that is manually entered (via admin), and then use the top-links to go one product forwards, or one back. I clearly see that the manualy entered products do infact have SEF links!

How can i trigger SEF links to be picked up my manual entry?

Hello,

Basically the product needs to have correct category and manufacturer associated in the database in order to be SEFed. Otherwise I don't see a reason why manually entered products should be treated differently. Maybe there are some other relations that VirtueMart creates in the database when the product is entered using the admin interface.
