Hi all, I have joomsef 3.3 and vm extenstion 2.0.2. I just installed it and everything looks great. However, I can't change page titles. What setting do I need to change to do this. Currently all page titles are generated automatically except the homepage title which I set using the default seo component in joomla.

I am on joomla 1.5.3 and vm 1.1.2.

I am not sure if I understand what you what to achieve.
However, if you want to change a page title, you can do so in the URL editor/viewer.
Other settings related to page titles are in JoomSEF metabot (plugin) configuration.

Hi Jan - When i add a page title in the view/edit sef urls section, the page title is not appearing in the front end.

The plugin options are all set to 'yes' to allow changing of titles.

Can you tell me what settings need to be in place for me to be able to change page titles.

seems that settings are ok in your case. I think the page title may be overriden by some other component/plugin.
Try to disable other plugins you are using temporarily. Especially the others with same or similar functionality. (e.g. JfRouter, JoomlaSEO, etc.)
If you determine the one causing problems, you may try reordering the plugins.

thanks Jan. Actually, I just had to clear the JoomSEF Cache. I was clearing the browser cache earlier. It works fine now.
