I run Joomla 1.5.22 stable and installed SEF 3.8.1 just a couple of weeks ago and have been reading the docs and trying to understand how it works. In one area however there is not a lot said, on HIts, and on RSS urls .
Can I ask, 1) how do i clear the 'Hit' counters. 2) it appears that i am getting 'ghostlike hits'
i say or describe it so, as I know my site is very new and I am not getting the traffic. This being said, I do not understand how/why certain urls' are generated or i mean I am not sure how to use them in full, like mysite.com/reviews/blog
Is it possible these urls are generated and are run by the software and generate hits in doing so?

Hello,

order ID is the later one.

JoomSEF generates SEF URLs based on the links generated in Joomla site source. If a non-SEF link is found, SEF equivalent is generated for it.

Hits are counted based on accesses (DB requests) to translate the SEF link to original non-SEF link.

But its not all clear to me. Can you tell me how to clear the counters on 'hits'.
i would like a better or more accurate reading once i fix the pdf , call logged also, and other issues.
I know i can turn on some debug, as there is one section i recall picking up lots of hits from god knows where. I think its within SEF or similar. I will get more accurate info shortly this. In meantime how do i clear hits?

the only chance to clean only the hits number is reseting the counters at DB level, e.g. using phpMyAdmin tool.
