I keep getting this error when I try to upgrade

File does not exist in upgrade package: /site/sef_ext/com_docman.xml

Any idea why?

I am upgrading from Installed version: 3.2.1

Hello Peter,

this is a know issue. Please, try to search bit in these forums, it has already been discussed here.
Basically, you need to upgrade in teo steps - first to 3.2.4 (you can get the free version with this version in downloads section), then upgrade with online or with latest version. Finally, reinstall with the same (latest) paid version to override the free one.

I tried to do so, but following problem:

after installing the free version (3.3.5), the update via server connection doesn´t work. I need a newer version because other extensions depend on it. No I have the backlink on my site, because I´m not able to reinstall the payed version. (3.2.11)

What can I do? Is it possible to copy the original files on the server via ftp? Will it make a downgrade, or even destroy the functionalyty because of changed tables?

Or is there any other possibility to make an update manually? some files?

Hello,

if you have now free 3.3.5 installed, simply download the latest one using your download id at http://www.artio.net/en/e-shop/download-area and in JoomSEF Upgrade, use the "upgrade from file function".

Ok, Thank you.

But now I´ve another problem: I lost my mail with the download link (and download id). But I still have the bills ;-)

Is it possible to send the email with my download id again?

Hello,
you can get your current download ID also in your order list that you can see after logging at our site. (click Account maintenance)

Alternativelly, we can regenerate the download ID for you if you send us your order ID.
