I migrated www.20yardline.com from joomla 1.0 to 1.5, and switched from opensef to joomsef. I was able to replicate my URLS exactly (The site is still in test mode at www.tonylloydhosting.com/20yl). Unfortunately I have a menu with 32 items that are blog category types, listing articles for each football team in the NFL. No matter what I do, after purging the SEF URLs, every item in the menu gets a URL of www.tonylloydhosting.com/20yl/categoryname - What can I do to get these category blog listings to generate the correct URL? I can't go live and upgrade until this is fixed!

I probably do not undrestand what is the problem, I would expect that that URL like
.../20yl/categoryname is correct?

Do you mean you get the same categoryname for each item in menu, although the categories are different? Or do I understand it wrong?
(btw. try checking the configuration options in JoomSEF / Manage Extensions / Content, where you can set how the URL should look like - whether category / section name is used and whether related menu item title should be taken into account)
