Not sure where is the proble if the
www.tapeshhd.net/entertainment/rss.htm
is stored as
www.tapeshhd.net/index.php?option=com_co...tegory&Itemid=65
as you wrote about.

Also, we tested this on other webs and it seems to work fine.
Please, if you are still having problems, try to identify the cases, when it does not work. E.g. some relation to content type / specific category / content, etc.

i have the same problem with ARTIO JoomSEF and Joomla RSS Feeds
If i click the feed logo in the adress bar the page reloads but shows the same page again instead of the RSS Page

i also checked the JoomSEF URL Manager and following URLS are saved:
SEF URL:
groupdecontent/rss.html
NON SEF URL:
index.php?option=com_content&format=feed&id=90&layout=blog&type=rss&view=category&Itemid=456

if i disable JoomlaSEF
the following url works: and i get the correct RSS page
index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=90&Itemid=456&format=feed&type=rss

can you please help me?

after testing around i´ve got a few more informations

In total there are 4 cases
1.) Joomla SEF disabled
-> RSS Feed works with following URL:
index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=90&Itemid=456&format=feed&type=rss

2.) Joomla SEF enabled, Add Suffix to URL diabled:
-> RSS Feed works with following URL:
/press/presscategory?format=feed&type=rss

3.) Joomla SEF enabled, Add Suffix to URL enabled:
-> RSS Feed DON´T work with following URL:
/press/presscategory.feed?type=rss

4.) Artio JoomSEF enabled, File suffix enabled (.html/.feed)
-> RSS Feed DON´T work with following URL:
/presscategory/rss.feed

5.) Artio JoomSEF enabled, File suffix disabled
-> RSS Feed DON´T work with following URL:
/presscategory/rss

So i think it is related with the Joomla Option "Add suffix to URL", but if i work with ARTIO JoomSEF it don´t work in both cases..

I tried to reproduce your problem, but my RSS generates just fine from address bar link or syndication module. I have same versions of Joomla and JoomSEF as in first post. Do you have some customizations in your Joomla installation?

I have both JoomSEF and File suffix enabled.

I found that by adding 'format' to the Custom non-SEF variables on 3.3.6 fixed the problem. I haven't had time to dive into the to determine why yet.

So now it create urls like: domain.ca/rss.html?format=feed
But that suits me fine, because it works!
