i use JoomSEF 3.7.5 and among other things joomltags 1.3.3 (with artio SEF 1.2 for joomlatags).

I´m the operator of a news magazine with more than 2.000 articles.

The last days i checked Webmaster-Tool, 404 errors, Duplicates etc.

Webmaster Tools finds more than 1.000 404 Errors
for example:
www.xxx.de/xxx-store/seite-2-11111111111-2.html 404 (Nicht gefunden)
www.xxx.de/xxx-store/seite-2-46666666667-2.html 404 (Nicht gefunden)
www.xxx.de/xxx-store/seite-2-46666666667-2.html 404 (Nicht gefunden)

Every Tag generates different URL´s
for example

www.xxx.de/tag/xxx:4.html
www.xxx.de/tag/xxx-4
www.xxx.de/tag/xxx-4.html

Duplicates show hundreds.

How to solve this? Any ideas? I can´t find a solution.

When deleting the items in the duplicates List, will it delete the hole url or just the item in the list?

As regards the 404s problem, try locating the source of such URLs - the page where Webmaster Tool found them. Check if they are present in JoomSEF's URLs Manager and if they aren't, they couldn't have been generated by any of the JoomSEF's extensions.

For the Joomla Tags please use the JoomSEF's Manage Extensions page and check what version of Joomla Tags extension do you have installed - the latest version is 2.0.0. If you have the latest version, please post also the Real URLs for the SEF URLs you've posted.

In the duplicate list you can set which URL exactly you want to delete - you can either delete only the ones you select or you can delete all the displayed URLs at once.

JoomSef Ext 1.2 is installed, i downloaded 2.0 but i cant´t install it?

I tried it via Upgrade Option und Uploaed Package File. But i got this error: JFolder::files: Path is not a folder

What´s wrong with it?

The 1.2 version means that it is meant to be used with JoomSEF 2.x and Joomla 1.0.x or that it is not made by Artio, so the upgrade won't work. Please uninstall the extension first and install the latest version.

The 1.2 is directly from the joomtags website.

I bought your 2.0 (from 2008 and older than 1.2) and there are more problems than before.

I deinstalled 1.2, installed 2.0 and the tag urls are now something like that:

www.xxx.de/tag/xxx/tag.html

?!?
