Hi I am using Virtuemart with Rockettheme Mynxx template and sef urls are not working with product categories. Individual products and all other pages are fine
www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com/index.php?option=com...emid=53&TreeId=7
as opposed to www.xxxxxxxxxx.com/stolen-vehicle-tracking

if I go to a product www.xxxxxxxxx.com/stolen-vehicle-tracking/product-xxx

if I click on breadcrumb back to category www.xxxxxxxxx.com/store/stolen-vehicle-tracking
as you see "store" is now in URL???

yes, that is a known bug in the Mynxx menu module.
It does not use the correct JOomla / VirtueMart API.

You can either use different menu module or you need to patch the Mynxx menu module.
If you search in this forum history and in our FAQs, I believe the patch was already published somewhere also.

We can also make the patch for you as a paid support if you wish.

HI, I think the solution may be a modified helper.php file but when I change this to the modified version the whole site goes blank and does not display. If I go back to original helper file it displays again. I have doubled checked new helper file to make sure it is complete but I cant see anything obvious

Maybe there is some newer version of the menu module that does not work with the initially patched helper.php.

To see the reason of the error, make sure to set error reporting in Joomla to maximum level when testing that. The error shown should give you better idea about what is wrong.

You can also compare the files and do the patch manually in your current helper.php file.

Thanks I will set the error reporting but with regards to modifying the helper file I would not have a clue as I no very little about php :-(
