My setup is default. I have not changed any JoomSEF 3.5 Settings. The standard Joomla extensions such as contacts or registration seem to work with JoomSEF but the AdsManager JoomSEF extension does not seem to work.

When I click on a category link on my website I get this

www.mywebsite.com/classifieds/automotive...order=0&expand=0

Under JoomSEF URL Manager I have

Sef URL
classifieds/automotive

Real URL
index.php?option=com_adsmanager&catid=4&page=show_category&Itemid=53

If Sef URL is classifieds/automotive why is my website link showing

www.mywebsite.com/classifieds/automotive...order=0&expand=0

how do I get ride of this ?text_search=&order=0&expand=0

I want my website to look like

www.mywebsite.com/classifieds/automotive

I'm just new to Ads Manager too and I want to get rid of this URL at the end.

Like: .....text_search=&order=0&expand=0

I posted a week ago about this and no one answered.

I want URL to appear like: www.eslcorner.net/resumes/

Instead of this messy URL

www.eslcorner.net/resumes?text_search=&order=0&expand=0

I hope we will get a support soon.

Anyway, I got Ads Manager working on my site well. My only problem is the messy URL above.

Yea, I got it working as well, buts its really poor service. They say you get support if you pay for it. But if you buy a software product you should at least be able to down load a detailed manual with a lot of explanations. I can't find any resource like that here.

I would suggest not to buy any other extension from this website. There is no documentation, just a one page quick setup sort of guide.

The text_search, order and expand are so called "non-SEF variables". Storing them in database would create lots of duplicate URLs, for example storing the text_search would cause generating new URL in database every time some user searched for some text.
If you don't want non-SEF variables appearing after SEF URLs, you can switch "Append non-SEF variables to URL" off globally in JoomSEF configuration on Advanced page, but expect huge increase of URLs count in database.

OK, That is a fare enough answer and I am happy with that. I guess it comes down to limitations on Joomla maybe or the AdsManager and how it works.
