I just installed jomSEF in joomla 1.6 and I'm having a lot of issues with 404 redirects. For some weird reason this is not working, i tried many things but so far no luck

Instead of showing the custom 404 page i only go to any these url:

- index.phpcomponent/contentarticle?id=0
- index.phpcomponent/contentcategory

What do i need to do so the 404 redirect to the custom page. I bougth this component basically to fix error pages, this is a huge problem for me.
