I am a new user of Artio having pulled my hair out with sh404sef for two years.

The site I am trying to build has artio sef installed (free) and most of the pages work fine. However, some links when clicked on go back to the home page.

I do not know why and the 404 logs are empty.

The site is dev1.yoursapna.com

To replicate the error click on 'Wedding Directory' in the top menu. Then click on 'Decor & Florists' and then 'More Info' for the Designer Flowers company. I built these links using the built in editor which points to the non sef url.

My site details are

Apache 2.2
Windows 32 bit (I know its pants, but this is a dev site)
Joomla 1.5.15
JoomSEF 3.6.2

I would also like to turn h1 tags to h2 when there are multiple on one page. This was the most important feature of sh404sef. Is this possible in JoomSef?

It seams that the URL is redirected correctly, but it is missing the correct Itemid variable. Could you post the Real URL for the wedding-decor-florists/wedding-decoration-florists and wedding-decor-florists/wedding-decoration-florists SEF URLs?

The URL for the Designer Flowers page is; (this is the one that doesnt work)

As I use JCE editor to choose the content to link to, would this have an affect on whether the correct nonsef url is being used?

I found this and know its related, I just dont know how to rectify my issue.

I believe I have resolved my issue. I followed the article below and used the link index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=xx where xx is the article id in my links.

Can someone confirm this is ok to do and wont cause further issues with JoomSEF or Google seeing duplicate URLS? How will the sitemap see the links?

If this is the fix I suggest making it a FAQ as many people link to articles which dont have menus associated.

There shouldn't be any problems with JoomSEF using this approach and I think that Google should be OK too.
What sitemap do you mean? Sitemap in JoomSEF just uses the SEF URLs from database, so there shouldn't be any problems. If you mean some other component for sitemap creation, it depends on the way it works.
Thanks for the suggestion to make it a FAQ, I think it's a good idea.
