I was using joomsef 3.2.1 in my site. I had some problems with mod_search: when I searched something from an intern page (for example www.example.com/category-name/article-name.html ), I got a 404 error log saying that www.example.com/category-name/index.php didn't exist. so the problem was that the module (or artio, or something) was taking www.example.com/category-name/ as the root path...

anyway, I updated Artio to 3.2.9 thinking that this might be a bug of 3.2.1 version, but now what I get is that I can't search anything, from anywhere on the site: I always return to the homepage.

Exactly the same with mod_login... now it is not possible to log in on the site!!! you always go back to the homepage and you can't log in!!! this is causing me a lot of problems because nobody can enter my site as a registered user.. I need to fix this!!

any ideas?

Same thing here. Joomla 1.5.9 with Ario 3.2.9. In our case, not even com_search is working, even with SEO switched off for this component.

Any clues?

finally I could fix it. Believe it or not, what I did was uninstall Artio and reinstall it (directly the version 3.2.9, not 3.2.1 and then updating...). No idea of what the problem was.. probably some configuration that wasn't set the right way after updating.

now both mod_login and mod_search work OK.

so.. my suggestion is as simple as that: uninstall and install again!!

then you do not need to uninstall and reinstall, but just follow the same procedure as when upgrading free version to paid (it is described in documentation).
This will not delete your custom URLs when uninstalling.

We are using 3.2.9 on our own site with no problem.

I upgraded to version 3.2.9 as indicated, with no effect.

I removed 3.2.9 and re-installed it from scratch, to no effect again. Search is not returning any results.

Any ideas?
