Currently I'm thinking about to migrate to JoomSEF from an existing AceSEF System with around 30.000 SEF URLS. Which caching option you can recommend for such a large SEF URL count? AceSEF is recommending not using any Caching option from AceSEF itself but use the Joomla Cache instead. Currently I'm facing big problems with AceSEF because I started the system with a option called "Permanent Cache" which is only recommended up to 5000 URLs. The permanent cache is hold in the RAM which now gets less and less and alreadey crashed due to max_memory_limit exception. How is the caching done in JoomSEF - also in the RAM or file based ? AceSEF supports another caching option which is then hold in a file but I'm not able to use this option because after that nearly all SEF URLs ending in the fmous 404 page.

Have also seen that JoomSEF offers an import of AceSEF URLS - will try this on a development mirror. Anything else what you recommend or give advices for a migration from AceSEF to JoomSEF?
