Hello

I installed JoomSEF, because all other SEF Components didn't work well with Joomfish 1.7 (at Joomla 1.0.11), neither OpenSEF Patch.
Now, I'm almost happy, but I have still some Problems.

1) The URL's are perfectly build even in the Mainmenu and in the Modules (RD Sitemap, Most Read, News). But the Standard Joomla Pathway shows all URL's without SEF or SEO.
What can be the problem and what you have to know more about settings and konfiguration?

2) It is possible to have automaticly a URL like www.domain.com/hello.html instead of www.domain.com ?? when sombody enter to the Domain ?

Hello Roland,

1) I'm not sure what part of pathway you mean; except the first step (home), the URLs should be generated correctly. The problem with home is that some parts of Joomla do not use the standard function to generate the link and therefore the SEF URL is not generated correctly. As noted in other threads of this forums, this will probably need a Joomla core patch. We are working on it and will try to release it soon.

2) As regards your second question that can be done using the RewriteRule in the .htaccess file. Please refer to Apache server rewriting documentation for more details.
