hello,

i installed joomSEF localy to test it and i have a problem. I keep geting the error 500. now i found that i need to change the htaccess file and i did but it still does not work. I think the problem is that the rewritebase is not set to my root directory. Now how do i know what is my root directory, whit what program can i edit the htaccess file besause i can not save it as .htaccess from notepad. maybe somebody can please post his htaccess file which works so that i can have a look at it.
