Hello, this is my first post. I have a menu links to my categories (Blog Layout)

The urls generated appear as

I would like to prevent "blog" from appearing in the urls. I am trying to change the urls generated to appear as

I know I can create a custom urls, but I have many categories and I would like to have the urls written this way automatically. I have tried to configure the content extension parameters in components/Artio JoomSEF/Manage Extensions/Content but I am unable to figure this out.

Is there someone who would be kind enough to take the time to explain how to do this please?

I guess you're using version 3.5.3 because I upgraded my Artio component to this version from 3.5.0 and I had the same 'problem'. I tried to change the urls from "Manage Sef Urls" but didn't work .....However, probably I was wrong about something...

I don't know if this is the best solution, but I think that appears like this ("/blog") because of duplicate urls. The new version makes duplicate urls, and the right urls are differentiated with 'blog' at the end of url.

So the solution, I think is that you should stop Artio from making duplicate urls - in case you don't want to edit every urls.
Just turn to "YES" the option "Number duplicate Urls" from Global Configuration and then Purge URLs.

I'm not an expert but I think this is a solution ...you can try it our or you can wait until an administrator responds.

I do have "Disable creation of new SEF URLs?" set to yes, and I do not see any duplicate urls created in my "Manage SEF Url's section.

Until the next version release you can use the older version 3.5.0 and there doesn't appear this 'problem'.
