Hi to all,

We are using latest Joomsef 4 and vm2.0.16 and we noted that the review submitting is not working. More specifically when a user (registered only) clicks on "Submit Review" he gets redirected to the home page and no review is submitted.

We disabled Joomsef for awhile to test, and it was working normally; it seems that there is some conflict similiar to my previous post regarding Forgot Password/Username functionality!

We'd appreciate your advice and fix in order to be able to receive feedbacks from customers again ;)

Hi Chris,

I've just tested the problem and it seems to be working correctly on my test server.
I've tried logging to your website but it for login test/test it says "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

For some reason POST requests on your server are redirected with 303 code to:
http://www.quality-tuning.co.uk/index.php?option=com_virtuemart

which then gets redirected to homepage.

This is also true for your forgot password/username. JoomSEF doesn't use 303 redirects and also never redirects requests containing POST variables, because redirecting causes them to be lost.

So I think there's some other component or plugin on your website that causes this.

Thanks for the tip; we check our plugins and we indeed found the problem on Chameleon extention. We'll discuss with the developer then ;)
