We have some multilanguage joomla 2.5 with joomsef. In these websites we have the following problems:

Some pages change the languange indipendetly from menu association.

For example:
Suppose we are in italian language, we expect to find the following url:

www.website.com/it/italian-menu-item-tit...lian-page-title.html

but we find:

www.website.com/en/italian-menu-item-tit...lian-page-title.html

Joomsef changes language automatically.

We disabled Joomla language filter plugin and activated the Joomsef one.
We also disabled the cookie use option





May it depends by components that hav no Joomsef plugin? (Consider that we have developed them from zero).

Is there a guide on how to configure a perfect routing for artio for joomla 2.5 and 3.0 components?

We found com example but it is for J 1.0 version.
