With JoomSEF enabled, vertical accordion menu does not behave properly (active submenus no longer remain open - accordion collapses on page load). With SEF URLs disabled, menu functions as expected. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a work around for the problem?

I have tried the fix explained in the post from 14 May 2012, changing Set Page base href to No - diasable base generation, however it did not resolve the issue.

The problem may be caused by incorrect Itemid being stored with the URLs in JoomSEF's URLs Manager. Try to find some URL that has this problem in URLs Manager and check whether the Itemid displayed in its non-SEF URL corresponds with the menu item ID from Joomla's menu manager.
