The FPSlideShow module is set to display only when the Home menu is displayed - so it normally displays only when on the site's home page.

When I activate JoomSEF FPSlideShow continues to work on the home page, but is also displayed on other pages where it does not belong. In addition, on the extra pages the module never loads any pictures, but simply displays the "loading" symbol.

In addition, on pages where FPSlideShow is displayed in error, the Left Menu does not display at all.

When I disable JoomSEF the problem goes away and both FPSlideShow and the Left Menu go back to their normal behavior.

This seems like a typical problem with wrong Itemids being stored with SEF URLs. Try dsiabling the Ignore multiple sources option in JoomSEF's Advanced configuration (you need to enable Professional mode to see it).

Changing the "Ignore multiple sources" option seems to have fixed the problem.
