If I add the same article in more different categories, when I click go ever to home page but the link is correct?

Please post the SEF URL that's generated for your product and its corresponding Real URL stored in JoomSEF's URLs Manager.

For example the real url is:
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_category_id=26&virtuemart_manufacturer_id=10&virtuemart_product_id=595&Itemid=426

the first SEF url is /vendita-online-accessori-realizzazione-torte/attrezzatura/attrezzi-per-la-decorazione/modecor/tappetino-stencil-triangoli-modecor-in-silicone and works good

the second SEF url is /vendita-on-line-accessori-prodotti-realizzare-decorare-torte/stampi/decorflex-e-stampi-in-silicone/modecor/tappetino-stencil-triangoli-modecor-in-silicone and doesn't work good because on click redirect to home page with this link on top and not index.php

Hi,

The problem is most likely caused by the different Itemid being stored in URLs - the first link has Itemid=101 and the second has Itemid=426, which means that the first link sets your homepage menu item as active and displays the hompeage layout.

This sometimes happen with VirtueMart (and other components) because they don't usually care much about the Itemid when generating links. Unfortunately there's usually no general solution as it depends on your website's structure.

You can try setting the "Ignore Itemids" parameter of JoomSEF's VirtueMart extension (the parameter is on the Common tab) to 101, so the homepage menu item shouldn't be stored in URLs for VirtueMart. After the change you will need to delete the already generated VirtueMart URLs in JoomSEF that have Itemid set to 101.
