I am using JoomSef 3.9.9 and the latest Virtuemart plugin. I selected "Add manufacturer to URL", but it is not added.

Everything else works fine, so no catastrophy happening - but I would be happy if I could find a way how to have the URL exactly as I wanted - with the manufacturer in it.

The manufacturer is usually only added to URL if the manufacturer_id is present in original non-SEF URL.

But you should be able to have the manufacturer added to product URLs by also enabling the "Store manufacturer_id in URLs to products". You will need to delete old URLs so they can be recreated with new settings.
