We acquired the K2 content plugin for JomSEF 4 / Joomla 2.5.

When the plugin generates the URL, it removes a paramenter we need to keep.

What we need:
index.php?option=com_k2&id=5&task=category&layout=category&view=itemlist&Itemid=388

What is happening:
index.php?option=com_k2&id=5&task=category&view=itemlist&Itemid=388

The extension is removing the layout=category parameter.

How can we tell JomSEF to not remove this paramenter?

Unfortunately it's not currently possible. We will need to fix this in next version of our K2 JoomSEF extension.
But if you're willing to modify the PHP code manually, just edit the /components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_k2.php file and around line number 256 find and delete the following line:


Of course make a backup of the file prior to doing so.
