is there a way to catch links pointing to the wrong place and send them to the right place?

You can enable the "Record 404 page hits" option in JoomSEF's Configuration on the 404 Page tab. But it will only record a 404 when it's first accessed by someone, so it can't automatically check your URLs.

The /view being added is a bug introduced in the 3.0.10 version. We've released a new version 3.0.11 which fixes it.

There wasn't any change in 3.0.10 regarding the categories handling, but I've found out that categories were not handled at all in our extension if you used the Products menu item type instead of Categories, so maybe that's the problem. We've added a support for categories for Products menu item type too in 3.0.11.

I still don't know what causes your comments not to work. The shop/reviewsave.html seems to be all right, so if your other SEF URLs are working I don't see a reason why this one isn't. Is the SEF URL set as Enabled in the URLs Manager?

ah man! it was disabled?! i have no idea how that happened?

i see another problem now though (thanks for fixing that bug by the way), on my shop pages, i have joomshopping's categories module displaying. the module gives the categorires urls like, shop/categoryname.html
in my menu items that i created for the categories, i only get this: categoryname.html without the shop/ part.so i have duplicate links pointing to the same place.

i see more duplicate links. because i have 'add menu title to url' enabled.

so i get duplicate urls to a product. one is,
shop/safety-gear/abec-11/abec-11-stripe-helmet.html
safety-gear/abec-11/abec-11-stripe-helmet.html
and another example,
shop/decks/db-longboards/the-cosmonaut.html
decks/decks/db-longboards/the-cosmonaut.html

the strange thing is, i tested this again now and now all the ones that has shop/ in front goes to a 404 page now, they worked like 5 minutes ago. and that is where all the inbound links from facebook and the search engines is pointing!

is there no way to set up some kind of wildcard that can catch all those inbound links and send them to the right place?

Could you also post the Real non-SEF URLs stored in JoomSEF's URLs Manager for your duplicate links examples? Thank you.

And you can either create custom RewriteRule in your .htaccess file to automatically redirect all URLs starting with shop/ to their corresponding links without it. Or you can set Custom menu title for your JShopping extension to "shop" so all the JoomShopping links will start with the same shop/ part.
