I have the latest ARTIO SEF and Jomsocial extnetion. I have been unable to get certain menu options to work in JomSocial, so I contacted JomSocial support. This is the response from JomSocial Tech Support "This issue is caused by your custom SEF system, I disabled it and "events" menu was pointing to the right page. Please remember that JomSocial was designed to work with native Joomla SEF system. "
If this has had to be turned off then there must be am error with the JomSocial Extension.

Please post which SEF URL caused you the problem and its corresponding Real URL stored in JoomSEF's URLs Manager. If there are duplicates created, please post all of them.

Also please post exact versions of your Joomla, JoomSEF, JomSocial component and JomSocial JoomSEF extension. Thank you.

But the error happens when you try to select a menu item type "Community/All Events" index.php?option=com_community&view=events This does not even exist in my Manage SEF URLs.
The option appears not select correctly when creating the menu. JomSocial put the blame on SEF but could be an error with them or with Joomla.
Here is a screen shot of the menu item types and the item I was trying to select was All Events on the top.

The All Events menu item works fine for me (Joomla 2.5.8, JoomSEF 4.3.0, JomSocial 2.6.2).

Try disabling SEF completely in Joomla's Global Configuration and check what non-SEF URL is displayed for your menu link.

Are you able to select 'All Events'?

This is what I was unable to select which is why I think the issue is with JomSocial and not SEF. I originally posted on the JomSocial forum and they came back saying that there was an error with the SEF.
