I created a new Joomla 2.5 version of an old joomla 1.0 website. I bought your JoomSEF 4 product and the adsmanager plugin asociated to. Both work fine and I design well my adsmanager urls.

Here my problem :

A lot of old and broken URLs (arround 100 a day) appears in the Joomla Redirection component. I fixed it every day. These olds URLs weren't SEF on the old website and appear like this :
"..../option,com_adsmanager/Itemid,196/origineItemid,188/lang,fr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4&Itemid=155&origineItemid=188&lang=fr"

=>How can I create a global rule to fix it without break the main joomsef adsmanager module which run well ?

Hi,
I think that it won't be possible to redirect those URLs to their corresponding pages on new website with some global rule, because the URLs structure and the Itemids will probably be different. So you could probably either display a 404 page for them, or redirect them all to your homepage. You can achieve this with a rewrite rule in your .htaccess file, that will redirect all URLs containing eg. "/option,com_adsmanager/".

I can't find the correct syntax to redirect every url containing "/option,com_adsmanager/" to the page of my choice.
Can we just manage 404 page in Joomsef configuration and redirect all 404 to the homepage ?

JoomSEF currently can't redirect 404 to homepage URL, but it can display homepage for a 404 link. Go to JoomSEF's Configuration and on the 404 Page tab set 404 Page to (Front Page).

This is what I tried first but none of both options ("front page" or "custom page") run. It seems not to be activated and I still have the "404 - component not found" page.
What can I try ?

Try disabling the "Parse Joomla SEO links" option in JoomSEF's Configuration on the Advanced tab. But please note that if you use Default Joomla router for some components, their URLs will stop working then.
