After saving article in backend (Save or Save and Close button), the blank page appears. The article is correctly saved but it is very annoying.

Enabling logging, I see the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTag() on a non-object in /hosting/www/lesany.info/www/libraries/cms/application/site.php on line 328

Once the plugin Content - ARTIO JoomSEF is disabled, the problem disappears.

Joomla 3.4.4, JoomSEF 4.6.3

I am having the same issue.

I have had this issue since 3.3 and only on sites that use joomsef. I had been able to work around this by using the solution in the following joomla forum (forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=709&t=825504) but this fix does not seem to work anymore with 3.4.5.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I submitted a help ticket and got the following response that corrected the issue:

We know about this problem, it is caused by the "Auto update URLs" option being enabled in JoomSEF's Configuration on the Advanced page. Just disable the option and the problem should go away.
