im having an issue with my sef urls for the easydiscuss component.

As you can see in my examples below i prefer to use "components router" or "Default Joomla! router" for the great use of keywords at the end of the url. the title of the question become the url.

The issue is that i dont want "user-settings" in the url. i would like the component name or title or anything relevant to the component to replace "user-settings". "user-setting" doesnt make any sense to me, where is this coming from?

i remember a time when "user-settings" wasnt in the url and i dont know why this is showing up now. any way to fix this?

The first part of SEF URL is usually the menu item title, so I think that you have a menu item named User settings associated with the EasyDiscuss component. Unfortunately there's no way to control this in JoomSEF if component's router or default Joomla router is used as a handler.

dajo, i agree. i think its pullling it from a menu item, but the odd thing is that i dont have that menu item published anymore and its still making these urls. i posted a support question at stack ideas to see if they have a fix. you can see any updates at the link below.
