I also have the \"too many pages\" error and I hope some one from Artio can advise the probable cause of this.

My hunch -- we have Fireboard installed -- but not the plugin for fireboard+artio. Is this why?

Can the \"too many pages\" cap be raised as we are growing fast.

I'd like to understand what the error even means - it took down my whole site for 4 hours yesterday, very painful!

Fireboard plugin and Virtuemart Plugin (from Artio) are the two sources of many generated links.

I've asked them long time ago. The last possible solution is to \"Provide them the backend access and they will take a look and try to solve the problem\".

It is not that easy for them to fix this huge problem since they are moving most of the resources to JoomSEF 3.0.

I now have the beta 1.0 plug-in, I got the \"too many pages\" with out the plug in and hope the plug in solves it.

Do you know people using the fireboard artio sef plugin who are still getting the too many pages error?

I received the 'Two Many Pages' error using JCal and it took awhile to figure out it was Artio causing the problem. Once I turned off Artio for JCal calendar the error went away. Sorry I don't have a solution for you.

It is ashame they can't fix this, seems like enough people have the problem.

Here are some directions that may solve some of the problem:

1. the order of your input values such as
option, page, catid... etc

2. use the ignore var and the nosef var.


The first direction is to be done in your component files

The second direction is to be done in SEF ext plugin file eg. com_kunena.php
