at this very moment i have running artio joomsef version: 1.3.1

i want to upgrade it to 1.4.0 But as i want to upload and install the package iget nothing else then a white page.. ... it wont work... what to do about it? anyone else who has this problem?

and should i first make a backup of my links before upgrading?

we apologize to all users still running PHP4.

There is a bug causing that the online upgare is not available on PHP4 powered servers in JoomSEF versions prior to 1.4.2. In PHP5 that works fine.

Since 1.4.2, this has been fixed and should work correctly both in PHP4 and PHP5.
