I am running joomla 1.57 and JomSEF v3.2.1 and virtuemart 1.1.2. When Joomsef is enabled I am unable to checkout. When I hit the checkout button it redirects me to the product categories page. If I disable joomsef everything works fine.

Despite what Hepcmo says there is already a response posted from JoomSEF support about this. To solve your problem go into JoomSEF configuration and change;

'Set server QUERY_STRING?' to 'Yes'

I did this and it doesn't work. I still get a 404 error when I turn on SEF in Joomla Global Configuration. Any other suggestions?

I found a workaround - I disabled SEF links on checkout.

To do this hack, backup your original files and add to VM com_virtuemart.php, at the beggining of the function "create", this code:


Tested on J1.0.15+VM1.1.2+JoomSEF 2.3.0
