JoomSEF: JoomSEF 3.1.1 + VirtueMart JoomSEF Extension 2.0.0

I hvae a problem in html entities in category names. I use "Ø" in many places. How to translate it to "fi" in page title and meta tags?

Hello,

You can't change the characters in page title or meta tags using JoomSEF. You can only set how they should be changed in URLs generated by JoomSEF - to do this, use the "Non-ascii char replacements" option in JoomSEF's configuration.

I've managed to chenge it in JoomSEF generated URLs ealier. Is it possible to change titles and drescription behaviour in any way? I've thought that titles and descriptions changes are generated by JoomSEF.

Yes, JoomSEF can control title and description, but there is not this kind of functionality implemented at the moment. I don't see a reason to change these characters in title and description as it shouldn't have any impact on SEO. However, if you really need this functionality, we can implement it to JoomSEF for you for some fee.
