I just added 3000 301s into JoomSEF and it seems like it really slowed down my site.

Is there any performance concerns I need to be aware of with JoomSEF? Is there a limit on the number of rewritten URLs or 301s I can use?

Well looking for the right redirect in table with 3000 records shouldn't be a problem for most servers, so I'd suggest to first try if the slowdown is really caused by adding the redirects (you could back up your jos_sefmoved table and clear it to see if there's a difference) and if it is, check your server configuration.

Any other tips to keep JoomSEF running as fast as possible? Also I'm using JoomSEF 4 not 3 if that makes any difference.
