we use JoomSEF in combination with the Ionic ISAPI for several of our customers on a IIS6 webserver. This has always worked great.

At this moment we are making the transition from Server 2003/IIS6 to Server 2008/IIS7 (x86). After lots of testing and trying I have given up on using the Ionic ISAPI. Every time I use Ionic on IIS7, the rewriting works great but the websites loses its CSS. Furthermore the websites become very slow. The website previously mentioned works great on IIS6.

After lots of trying and failing I have decided to use the IIS7 mod_rewrite for URL rewriting. I have tried several rewrite rules from JoomSEF documentation (I have no experience with rewrite rules) but when visiting the SEO urls I constantly go back to the index page.

Has anyone on this forum JoomSEF in combination with Ionic/Mod_rewrite (IIS) working on IIS7? Or could anyone help me with this problem?
