I'm using Joomla 1.5 and JoomSEF 3.

I use JoomSEF only for creating unique URL like from "/index.php?optionxxx" to "/simple".
What is great about this function is that I can create any unique URLs for any long-written original URLs.

Because of my site's using Japanese language for contents/titles creation, I don't use the feature of auto creation of new SEF URLs.
But I am satisfied with having the manual URLs creation feature.

However One thing I always wonder if I could keep Joomla core SEF function enabled even after enabling JoomSEF.
I have 10,000 pages in my site so I cannot create all unique URLs for each page manually.
Does anyone know the way to keep Joomla core SEF function and using JoomSEF just for manual URLs creation.

Hi,
You should be able to achieve this by setting the Default Joomla router handling for Content extension using JoomSEF's Manage Extensions page.
