the order by links in category page does not work with sef urls enabled , nothing happens when i try to sort the products by price or name.

to be more specific because my post was not clear, when i choose for example order by price or name it works, if i try to sort them ASC or DESC then nothing happens.

Example url in

www.dualshop.gr/e-shop/playstation/plays...rderby=product_price

this should have something like

www.dualshop.gr/e-shop/playstation/plays...ct_price&Dir=ASC

after i have selected this item to sort my products.

You are right, there's a problem with ASC or DESC sorting in our current VirtueMart extension. We will fix this in next version. Thank you for your report.

In the meantime, navigate to JoomSEF -> Manage Extensions -> VirtueMart and on the Common tab set "Custom non-SEF variables" option to "dir" (without the quotes).
Then navigate to JoomSEF -> Manage SEF URLs and filter for all the VirtueMart URLs that contain the "dir=" string in their Real URL and delete them.
Then it should work for you.
