We have a problem with joomdoc 3. We have the payed version.

The download doesn’t work with safari and a MAC. There’s something wrong with the mime-type. The documents allways have the ending .html. We have tried this with pdf, doc, docx and pptx-files. The download is opening always in a new browserwindow. Not with acrobat or word.

Can you help me?

If in your Joomla is SEO turn on then for documents are created SEF URLs. It's OK if they end with .html (according to SEO setting).

We will check mime-type of files flushed by component. Problem can provide browser settings.

if problem is with mime-type, it is server settings issue.

Open pdf in new window or in the browser is also issue of browser settings.
