Please bare with me, as I am very new to Joomla and Joomdoc.

I am setting up Joomla as a portal for a non profit organization, and I am looking at Joomdoc to store our meeting minutes, correspondence, etc. However I need it secured.

What I need to know, is how to protect the files in such a way that users MUST login to view the files, and can't just go to the direct download link. Any help would be great.

You can set who can download the document in JoomDOC settings. You simply have to go to your document's page
